Matthew Brewer

Matthew Brewer (Founder) is a partner at Chicago-based trial boutique law firm Bartlit, Beck, Herman, Palenchar & Scott where he practices commercial litigation in federal and state courts. After graduating from Mt. Carmel High School, Matt earned his bachelor degree from Stanford where he served as student body president. After college, he worked in the music industry in Beijing where he focused on marketing and intellectual property issues. He received his JD from Yale Law School and MBA from Harvard Business School. He serves on the boards of the Chicago Housing Authority, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital, and the Metropolitan Planning Council.

David prystowsky

David Prystowsky is Vice President of Campaign for the Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago. He leads a large group of professionals and volunteers to develop strategic vision on long term financial resource development and an approach to the overall “donor experience” at JUF. This includes everything from communications to events to next generational engagement, and any other donor touch point. David started at JUF in 2001 and has held several positions, most recently serving as Executive Director of the Jewish Community Relations Council and Government Affairs Office.

Antonio Martinez, Jr.

Antonio Martinez Jr. is President & CEO of the Oak Park-River Forest Community foundation. Prior to this role, he was the Director of Development for The Chicago Community Trust where was responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding relationships with donors, and for building unrestricted, restricted and endowment giving. Tony currently serves on the Board of Directors for Korean American Community Services, and is Vice-Chair of the National Latino Funds Alliance and committee member of Chicago Latinos in Philanthropy. He also serves a volunteer coach for Rogers Park American Youth Soccer Organization.

Greg Jones

Greg Jones is currently the Executive Director of The Academy Chicago. Dr. Jones is a lifelong educator who began his teaching career with Chicago Public Schools in 1998. In 2008, Dr. Jones co-founded George Westinghouse College Prep, a hybrid selective-enrollment school in the East Garfield Park Community. As the Assistant Principal, Dr. Jones co-led the school’s transition to a curriculum aimed at alignment around College Readiness Standards. In 2012, Dr. Jones was selected as the Principal of Kenwood Academy, a large comprehensive high school located in the Hyde Park Community, where he focused on disciplinary literacy, and worked to build effective teacher teams and coherent instructional systems.

Janice Glenn

Janice Glenn is a seasoned professional and consultant who fosters diversity and inclusion in organizations to increase growth and retention. Previously, she was appointed Director of the Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) where she was responsible for overseeing the agency’s primary goals to prohibit discrimination. She is an active civic leader and also serves on the Auxiliary Board of Christ the King Jesuit College Prep High School.

Adrian Segura

Adrian Segura is the Deputy Chief of Family & Community Engagement at Chicago Public Schools. Prior to this role, he served as the Senior Manager of City Affairs for the Illinois Network of Charter Schools. Adrian has served in various leadership roles in education, from the classroom as an instructor and assistant dean, to leading city-wide advocacy and election initiatives. Adrian was raised in Chicago and majored in Communications and Community Development at DePaul University.

Greg Mooney

Greg Mooney is the President and Executive Director of the Comer Science & Education Foundation. He is also the Board Chair of the Comer Education Campus. The Youth Center’s mission is to provide the support for all of its students to graduate from high school, prepared to pursue college and careers. Greg serves on the Board of Directors for Leadership Greater Chicago.
